This corrosion protection high performance Polyurethane coating (PU) consists of single polyurethane layer.
Polyurethane coating is designed to protect overground, buried and subwater oil, gas and water pipelines in environments where superior mechanical protection and high operating performance characteristics are required.
UKRTRUBOIZOL has begun to produce PU coating for submarine gas transmission pipeline as a part of a President of Ukraine's Project of Black Sea' gas deposits development.
UKRTRUBOIZOL's PU coating is applied to pipes using an airless-spray method in manufacturing process. It also can be applied by hand to welded joints, bends, fittings etc.
During construction, the coating demonstrates excellent field handling and flexibility characteristics, thus minimizing construction installation costs.
Properties and Benefits:
1. High resistance to mechanical damage, indentation, cathodic disbondment, soil contaminants, UV exposure.
2. Operating temperature range from - 40°C to + 80°C.
3. Excellent long term corrosion protection on pipelines from 57 mm to 1020 mm in diameter.
4. It can be applied in a wide range of thicknesses (from 0.5 mm to 5 mm and more) to meet unique project specifications and performance requirements and provide a high level of mechanical protection across many diverse environments without additional costs. Recomended thickness - 1.5 mm.
5. It meets the requirements of DIN EN 10290, Ukrainian and Russian State standards and other.
